Live American-English

It is fifth, and the last night in USA. The conference is over, and all I have to do now is to pack my baggage. It was lucky that I can stay one night after the conference by getting the plane ticket of tomorrow.

This five-days stay has been a good chance for me to think about my English skill. I think that my most sereous problem is listening, and then courage to communicate with others. About second point, it seems to have been improved during this stay. At the end I became to be able to keep talking with people, even if I could understand only half of what they say.
Here living many people from various areas in the world, and they go together keeping a good relationship, basically. The only point in common among those people is to speak English. Unfortunately, different type of vocabulary from that we learned in school seems to be required to live in US. My next aim is to learn such a 'live' American-English.

I will fly back to Japan tomorrow, and will be back in Kanazawa on 12 Jan. My next diary may be uploaded on 12. See you.
